Woodland Preschool and PreK is a learning school.   We have been an Akron institution for over 40 years educating young minds.

Our curriculum helps children develop mentally, socially, emotionally and physically.  Our goals foster curiosity, stimulate enthusiasm, build ideas and concepts using the guidelines outlined by Ohio's Kindergarten Readiness Assessment-Literacy (KRA-L) and the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.  Woodland Preschool and Prek is affliated with the National Association for the Education of the Young Child
through the Midwest, Ohio and Akron chapters.

We strive to help each child live, work and play in a program of learning activities.
Children are encouraged to use materials which will increase their creative power, promote independence and develop motor coordination.   Through hands -on experiences with art materials, reading materials, computer instruction, music and the fine arts, students develop a sense of security and well being while interacting in a small group environment.
